 Week 4  February 22, 2025 Progress:       Finish assembling the whole system. Codes are improved, RPM values are shown correctly. But the wire on the load cell is broken accidentally, we connect it by soldering it but it is of none use.

 Week 3  February 15, 2025 Progress:       We completed most of the part of the circuit. Apply codes to test RPM and torque. But both of the 2 values are  not ideal. Problems:       There is something wrong with codes. Values of RPM and torque are not ideal. Works of coding still need to improve. The sample time is too small, which makes RPM value can not recognize shatter. At the same time, there is some problem on the measurement on the value of the force cause it will only appears 2 fixed values. We need to ensure whether it is a hardware problem or a software problem.

 Week 2 February 08, 2025 Aims In the second lab session, we had changed our aim for this week from complete the circuit and soldering to complete the coding cause the component was not collected successfully as we expected. Progress We totally finished the coding of the torque measuring system. It should be tested next week. Aim for next week: Complete the circuit and test the whole system.

     Week1        Week 1 Aims:        In the first lab session, we recieved some parts of our components. It included:an Arduino mega board, a brushless dc motor, a LCD shield, pins, a A to B cable. After we check the component and connect the shield to and the arduino board to the computer. We realized that we there is so many essential components we need but we dont recieve it for some reason cause some of them are out of stock when school order it. We check all the components we needed and upload them again. With these existing hardware components, we could not make progress on the circuits. So we aim to finish the design of 3D printing on some coomponents today.       Week 1 Progress          For the day of session, we finished the design of 3D print of the small parts: friction adaptor , load cell support , pi support and yellow flywheel.  Week 1 challenges       ...
